Upon completion of this module, you should be able to:
- Explain how to communicate with a helicopter using radio.
- Demonstrate hand and arm signals used when communicating with a helicopter.
- Describe the precautions to be taken when survivors are picked-up from the ship and from survival craft.
- Describe the different methods that can be used for winching.
- Demonstrate how to put on a helicopter lifting strop and the correct posture to adopt during the lift.
