Upon completion of this module, you should be able to:
- Describe the purpose of Lifebuoys and how they are distributed around the ship.
- Describe the requirements for other equipment attached to Lifebuoys.
- State the minimum number of lifejackets to be carried on a passenger ship and a cargo ship.
- Describe the different types of lifejacket commonly found on board ships, and explain their purpose.
- Demonstrate how to don a lifejacket.
