The software comes as a fully integrated package or in modular form, and is comprised of:
- The Crew Management System - CMS;
- The Competency Assurance System - CASys; and the
- The Interactive Assessment Tool - iTEST.

The CMS is designed for manning agents and ship owners to assist them manage;
- Staff recruitment
- Deployment scheduling
- Monitoring of working hours, and controlling fatigue at the work place
- Employment records.

The CASys is designed to operate independently or link seamlessly with the CMS and provide;
- Competency assurance needs for:
- Current position
- Enterprise specific requirements
- Promotional requirements
- Training management
- Employment records

Our system is "best in class" as we have taken all of the regulatory requirements and produced a comprehensive inventory of competencies for each job function in a ship or on an oilrig. The system manages a person's professional development from recruitment to termination fulfilling all regulatory and vetting requirements that are required by compliance authorities and your customers.
iTEST is a summative assessment program that ensures underpinning knowledge is sufficient to meet the requirements of workplace competency assessment. All records are maintained and are reportable either within the iTEST program or in the CASys.
All our products are new and exploit the efficiencies currently available using the latest software programs and multimedia technologies.

| Human Resource Information System (HRIS) |

The IDESS I.T. HRIS is a user-friendly program designed to manage personnel information for Ship Owners, Managers and Crews. The system is divided into five (5) functional areas they are:

Administration |
The Administration function allows HR staff and Manning Agents to manage HR data in a safe database environment.
The data stored correctly in the database is then easily retrieved, formatted and communicated directly with other company and management systems, offices, ships, and seafarers.

HR Data |
Data entry is conducted once only, using drop down menus and a logical sequence to enter data, the system aims to minimise HR data requirements and key strokes and to maximise data entry time and quality of information.
Tools are provided for HR staff to manage multiple entries (batch files), attach files and photographs and to download company specific documentation used in the HRM/D processes.

Recruitment |
The Recruitment function allows the Crew manager / HR staff to accurately record the recruitment process from end to end.
On Hire these outputs are filtered through the system to generate the Training Record Book (TRB) and provide information for other functions, therefore making the system a single point of data entry.

Crew Fatigue Manager |
|
Crew Fatigue is managed within CMS using ILO 86 and STCW 95/98 convention standards. The system records overtime and reasons for overtime reporting back to the HR office, all of the results for company personnel

Reports |
The Reports function allows HRM / D staff run quantative data gathered in the system for analysis and reporting. Reports are generated by filtering database information and then presenting it in a logical user-friendly format.
The report can then be exported to different file formats for inclusion into management reporting documentation.
