IDESS is a respected provider of training services to the international shipping and offshore oil and gas industries. Established in 1989 in Norway and Sweden, IDESS has become an innovative leader in its field and earned a reputation for adhering to the highest standards in all aspects of its operations.

Over the years IDESS has explored various methods and employed new technologies to improve and enhance its ability to transfer knowledge and skills.

A software development department was established in 1997 which has carried out extensive research into computer-based learning systems. This led to the creation of IDESS Interactive Technologies in 2001, a significant and long-term commitment to the development and production of e-learning tools, and other computer based instruments required by our clients.
